Tree frogs are small, usually less than 2 inches, colorful and are excellent vocalists. Tree frogs are one of the most talented types of acrobatic frogs doing amazing tricks such as the high wire on a piece of grass. These amazing yellow and green and many other colored frogs are my favorite for their acrobatic ways and dazzling colors. These lively little creatures are often called "the clowns and high wire artists of the amphibian world." You can hear them singing in their little hiding places in the grass and leaves (mostly near a pond). They are called tree frogs because that is where they live alot of times. They are also the only kind of frogs that have suction cups on the bottom of the toes which enables them to cling to slick surfaces, even glass! They can even change shades of color to match their surrounding environment.
